Leben und Karriere
He is the youngest of the three Kini brothers. His first race on his brother’s KTM Comet Racer took place in Telfs/Austria in 1974. After various podium rankings in the Austrian Championship and also achieving point ranks in the World Championship, Klaus was forced to take a break from his motocross career in 1989 after a serious accident at a motocross race in Italy. From that moment on, he was mainly concerned with his parents‘ bakery business. But in 1993 he got the chance to continue his motorcycle career. At the Nürburgring he participated in his first Supermoto race for the KTM-Jäger team. Three vice-champion titles in Germany, one -vice-champion title in France, as well as a third place in the European Championship were the most remarkable successes of this period. At the age of 40, Klaus finally decided to end his motorsport career in 2004. Ever since he has dedicated himself entirely to „KTM Adventure Tours“, an adventure off-road travel project of the Austrian-based company KTM.
